Upcoming gigs

I got some DJ gigs coming up!

Friday June 26th: DMX Krew (live), Defekt, skkatter at The Underground (I still call it Kennedys!), Westland Row, Dublin 2, Ireland. I’m on first so get down there early, the flyer says doors are open at 10:30pm. Hopefully I’ll be playing one or two of my own tracks I’ve been working on (though whether or not this is a point to be advertising is debatable!). I’ve always had fun playing at Kennedys, the first time I played there I was supporting Radioactive Man and the second time I was supporting Egyptian Lover so it’s only apt that the third time is in support of another electro hero of mine, Ed Dmx.

Saturday June 27th: Troy Pierce, skkatter, Eddie Brennan at Twisted Pepper (I still call it Traffic), Middle Abbey St, Dublin 1, Ireland. I first played in Traffic on the 11th of February 2003 where two guys I knew from DCU were putting on a night on Tuesdays called Le Cadavre. This was before even D1 had a night in there. I then played there for Nylon, D1, Electric City, Hospital and Gravy over the next few years. They changed the DJ box around quite a bit back, then it closed down, and now it’s opened up under a new name but it’ll always be Traffic to me!

Friday July 17th: skkatter (all night long baby!) at Dr. Pong, Eberswalder Str, Berlin, Germany. Continuing my monthy-ish residency in the most ghetto bar in Prenzlauer Berg, except everything from acid house, electro, techno, weird salsa covers of Kraftwerk and whatever else I bring. I usually play there from 10:30pm until whenever they close, which is usually around 5:30am, so a lot of my old records that wouldn’t normally be played get an airing!
