Th-Th-Th-Thursday sees Barry Donovan, Mick Chillage (live) and Eddie Brennan down at Electric City in Traffic tonight. Barry Donovan will be kicking things off, he’s fresh from running the very sucessful Creme Organization night in Crawdaddy last Friday that I heard went really well.

Mick Chillage has been broadcasting as one half of the Chillage Idiots on XFM (worst website in the universe!) for the past oh, ten years probably? Mick has been producing for the past few years ago, he’s always giving me CDs full of stuff so it’s about time he played live (although I remember him playing “liveish” down at Big Brother Records in 1998 with an MC303 so technically this isn’t his debut appearance). Eddie Brennan will be finishing up, he’s brining in his own mixer so if he messes up just one mix then he deserves to be booed off the decks. Harsh but fair.

Also this Thursday Planet-Mu max/msp expert Hrvatski will be playing live at The Cellar (in the basement of Frazers on O’Connell Street) along with support from Herv and the Alphabet Set lads. It’s 7.50 in, I’m trying to figure out a way to go this and the Electric City night too. Hmmmmm…….

Hospital will be having their second last night in Traffic this Friday. Joining the residents will be Rob Hawk, so don’t bring your pet mouse in with you.

Scott Logan will be manning the decks at D1 this Saturday along with either Ross, Eamonn or Toirse (or somebody else, who knows!). Also on Saturday at The Ice Bar Richard Brophy will be DJing along with live sets from Corrugated Tunnel and “I am not an Exit”, the brand new mystery producer who suddenly came out of nowhere and whose first name doesn’t start with B.

Unfortunately Mixed Salad has finished up and won’t be going ahead this week as previously advertised: “Unfortunatly Mixed Salad has come to a very abrupt and unexpected end today. Due to uncontrolable circumstances the final two parties that would see Mixed Salad off for this year will NOT go ahead. Sincere apologies to the DJs due to play this week and to anyone who now has to endure hours of Sunday television.”
