Bye Bye Jo

Back in July 2007 I bought a Jomox XBase 999 drum machine. It was a great piece of equipment, real analogue kick, snare and toms with samples for the hi hats, rim shots, claps and other bits. It sounded really raw and punchy but recently I found myself using it less and less, all the sounds I was getting out of it were a bit too "tough" for me I felt, so I sold it. This is just a post to say bye bye, and good luck in your new home. I sold it on Ebay, the first thing I ever sold there! By a happy coincidence the buyer lives in Berlin so he called around to pick it up which was handy as I didn't have to go through all the trouble of getting it weighed and packed up at the post office. I also gave him a brief tutorial on how to use it!
Some photos I took when I first got it
And also when I decided to sell it
